A Lexington police officer has resigned after he hit another driver while texting and driving in his official police cruiser. Officer Marcus Olmstead insisted in the video that the car in front of him stopped too fast for him to stop without hitting them, but body-worn camera video showed he was on his phone when the crash happened.
