The Woodford Spire, an official cocktail of the Kentucky Derby, was introduced at Churchill Downs several years ago. Herald-Leader bourbon and business reporter Janet Patton explains how to make and enjoy one. 🥃 Recipe: 1.5 oz bourbon 2 oz lemonade 1 oz cranberry juice (can add simple syrup or use cranberry juice cocktail for a sweeter drink) Crushed ice Fill your glass with ice. Add the bourbon, lemonade and cranberry juce, stir and enjoy!
